CHARLOTTE JOLIE
Charlotte Jolie, CEO of Adopt a Homeless Person, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
Charlotte Jolie is a California native whose life’s purpose is deeply rooted in compassion, service, and the unwavering belief that every person deserves dignity and a chance at stability. For over a decade, she has dedicated herself to advocating for and directly serving the homeless, fueled by a mission to ignite change and bring hope to those who are often unseen and unheard.
Her journey began in 2012 when she founded Beauty in Motion Social Club, a movement that grew to serve countless lives across Southern California. Through bi-weekly outreach programs, she delivered meals, clothing, and essential supplies to homeless communities in places like Seccombe Lake in San Bernardino and Fairmount Park in Riverside. To address the brutal realities of winter, she created Socks on the Block, a grassroots initiative that provided warmth and comfort through something as simple, yet vital, as a pair of socks.
Charlotte’s vision extends beyond charity—it’s about empowerment. Equipped with two master’s degrees and a 10-year tenure as a Human Resource Specialist for a Fortune 100 company, Charlotte brought her expertise in leadership, accommodations, and community building to every role she’s undertaken. From creating resumes and coaching individuals to organizing Sunday breakfasts at Riverside’s oldest church, she has always sought to uplift others in their pursuit of a better life.
After relocating to Las Vegas, Charlotte’s compassion drove her to act. She expanded her efforts, distributing meals, bus passes, clothing, and even offering skills training to those fighting to reclaim their lives. Her hands-on work in Las Vegas as a case manager, life skills proctor, and transitional home staff member brought her face-to-face with individuals overcoming addiction and domestic violence. These experiences shaped her profound understanding of the resilience within the human spirit and her determination to create pathways for success.
In 2021, Adopt a Homeless Person, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization was born out of love, urgency, and hope. With the support of her local church, she continues to feed and clothe the homeless while addressing their broader needs. Her vision includes building coalitions with surrounding organizations, nonprofits, churches, and businesses that share her passion for transformative change. “We cannot do this alone,” Charlotte says. “This work requires unity, creativity, and the willingness to step outside of comfort zones to truly make an impact.”
Charlotte’s entrepreneurial spirit also drives her efforts. Her clothing and print company “Love MySelf” fosters self-expression. She is a certified life coach, offering free laser coaching sessions to help individuals rediscover their strength and potential. Her impact extends to her work as an officer in Truckers in Pink Sisterhood, where she empowers women to take control of their narratives and their futures.
As an author of the acclaimed book “Shades of Power: Unveiling Self-Discovery, Confronting Bias, and Rewriting Relationship Narratives for Women of Color,” written under her pen name, Charlotte inspires others to rewrite their stories and rise above societal limitations.
Charlotte Jolie’s work is a powerful reminder that one person can spark profound change. Through Adopt a Homeless Person, she is not just feeding or sheltering the homeless—she’s advocating for them, empowering them, and restoring their humanity. She is calling on all who share her passion to partner with her in this mission. Together, we can create a community where hope is not just a fleeting moment but a lasting reality for everyone.
